JAMES P. DUNLAP
James P. Dunlap, aged 80 years, a resident of Mercer Township, this County, died Monday at one o'clock at the home of his son, M.P. Dunlap (Miles Perry), after an illness of fifteen months from complications incident to heart trouble and dropsy. He is survived by one brother, W.R. Dunlap (William Robinson) of Blairsville PA; and six children: J.D. (John Domer) of Grass Valley Oregon; D.E. (Daniel Edgar) of Asheville; M.P. (Miles Perry) of Mercer Township; Mrs. Mary Latshaw of Galt, California; Mrs. Vina Pettigrew of Kennerdell PA; Mrs. Hattie McClelland of Franklin PA. Funeral services were held in the Church of God at Barkeyville on Wednesday at eleven o'clock a.m., conducted by the Rev. Wimer of Barkeyville, assisted by the Rev. Hilderbrandt of Harrisville. Interment was made in Barkeyville Cemetery.

*James Perry Dunlap, born in Irwin Township, was the son of Andrew Dunlap, a farmer born in Ireland, and Mary Polly Robison.

*James married Martha Jane Eakin on January 13 1859 in Irwin Township, Venango County, Pennsylvania.

*Between 1860 and 1879 they had 9 children who were all born in Harrisville, Butler County, Pennsylvania.
