The son of Alpha and Nellie Bourn Parrish, he was born September 11, 1907, in Scotland County. On May 6, 1946, at Kirksville, he married Nellie Stevens who survives. Also surviving is one sister, Mrs. Fred (Florence) Tripp of Rutledge.
He was preceded in death by three sisters and five brothers.
Mr. Parrish was engaged in farming in Knox and Scotland Counties for several years. In 1978 he retired and moved to Memphis.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 Thursday morning (January 2, 1986) in Payne-Gerth Funeral Chapel, Memphis. Burial will be in the Pauline Cemetery at Rutledge.
