Edna was born Dec. 6, 1925 to William D. and Maude (Newberry) Keeney in Clear River township, MN. She graduated from Warroad High School in MN.and in her early years worked as a waitress during World War II. On Dec. 1 1943 in Crookston, MN she married Leopold F. "Paul" Rychart. In 1957 the family moved to Hillsboro.
Mrs. Rychart enjoyed crabbing, fishing, arts, crafts, and sewing. Edna was a member of the American Legion Post 104 and the Hillsboro Elks. Mrs. Rychart was also a long-time member of St Cecilia Cahtolic Church in Beaverton and St Matthew Catholic Church in Hillsboro.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Leopold and a son Johnny Lee. She is survived by her daughters Jewel A. (Mark) Jaquess, Tigard, and Marilyn Rychart, Hillsboro; her sons Michael Paul (Pam) Rychart, Redmond,OR, Daniel (Cindy) Rychart,Hillsboro, David Rychart, San Diego,CA and Timothy Rychart, Hillsboro.
Eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
