BIGLER — Mrs. Bertha Mae Rothrock, 73, died at 5:30 a.m. today in her home near Bigler. She had been ill for the past six months.
A daughter of Benjamin and Catherine (Lansberry) Kyler, she was born in Graham Township Nov. 6, 1890. She was a member of the Palestine Methodist Church.
She was married to Edward Rothrock in 1918. Her husband survives with the following children: Ivan Kyler, Graham Township; George Rothrock, Wallaceton; Rex, Mineral Springs; Jessie, Aberdeen, Md.; Clark, Morrisdale R. D.; Robert, Davisburg, Mich.; and Burton, Woodland R. D. Two step - daughters, Mrs. Avenl Rought of Whitesville, N. Y., and Mrs. Irene Houston of Morrisdale R. D. also survive.
Friends will be received in the William W. Strange Home for Funerals, Morrisdale, from 2 p. m. Sunday until Monday at 2 p. m. when services will be conducted by the Rev. Nancy Miller. Interment will be in the Palestine Cemetery.
