Mary Ann was the daughter of Hiram Schoonover and Mary Kilpatrick. She married Andrew J. Nye, 1 November 1846, in Ohio. They were living in Portsmouth, Ohio, with their children when they moved to Wayne County, Iowa. Andrew was a carpenter and a farmer. Andrew Nye died in Genoa, Iowa. I do not know where they are buried.
