Son of Daniel Alderman Jr.
Married Nancy Carlton on 6 Jan 1820.
H emoved from Duplin, NC to Screven Co, GA where he registered in 1826 for the GA Land Lottery; he was a "fortunate drawer" in 1827, and he moved to Bulloch in 1828. He moved to Thomas prior to 1830 where he is found in census in 1830-1840 near Pavo, GA. Since the county line between Thomas and Lowndes Co runs through Pavo, George must have moved into the Lowndes area of Barney as he is listed in Lowndes in 1850 which became Brooks (1858) where he is found in 1860-1870.
