Wilda Elizabeth Green Abbott, 94 of Campbell, died in Greenville on June 7. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church in Campbell with Rev. Bob Sexton and Rev. Erik Boykin officiating. Burial will follow at Brigham Cemetery.

Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Peters Funeral Home.

She was born April 4, 1913, in Campbell, daughter of Charles and Laura Taylor Kimbell. She was very active in her church, playing the piano for many years. She was a self-taught, wonderful artist and a longtime PTA member.

She is survived by her son, Charles Howard Green and wife Letitia of Denison; daughters Judy Davis and Norma Smith, both of Campbell; grandchildren Eddie and Eva Lewis of Mesquite, Leesa and Tim Pflughoft of Dallas, Jerri and Tim Lane, Time and Tiffany Green, all of Campbell, Regina and Rick Paradise of Middleburg, Fla., Dana Potter of Kansas City, Mo., Kathy and David Nichols of Conroe, Vicky McPherson and Jimmy Edwards of Killeen, Robert and Ellen Murphy of Fort Walton Beach, Fla., and Joseph Hartgrove of Killeen; a brother-in-law, Mike Pompa of Campbell; sister-in-law Charlene Kimbell of Campbell; 21 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Howard T. Green in 1974; husband Harmon Abbott in 1996; a granddaughter, Tanya Montgomery; sister Hattie Kimbell Pompa; and one brother, Charles H. Kimbell Jr.
