RALEIGH - Daryl Wayne Ambrose of the 12000 block of Adams Drive died Friday, Dec. 16, 2005. Mr. Ambrose was the son of the late Maggie Miller and Thomas Wayne Ambrose and was the husband of the late Connie Layton Ambrose. Survivors include his son, Joseph Wayne Ambrose of Raleigh; two sisters, Garland Byrum of Tyner, N.C., and Ella Brown of Rhonda, N.C.; and one brother, T.W. Ambrose of Greenville, N.C. A celebration of Mr. Ambroses life will be held at 2 p.m. today at Evans Funerals and Cremations of Edenton with the Rev. Stanley Nixon officiating. The family will receive friends following the service and other times at the home of Arnette and Carroll Forehand, 106 Countryside Drive, Edenton. A private family burial will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the Layton Family Cemetery.
