73, died Tuesday at Hadley Regional
Medical Center, Hays.
Born July 20, 1905 at Bison, he married
Dorothy Meyer Aug. 22, 1929 at McPherson.
He was a retired merchant and a lifetime
area resident.
He was a member of the United
Methodist Church, AF and AM, president
of Antique Telephone Association;
all of La Crosse; Consistory,
Wichita; Isis Temple, Salina; Knights
Templar, past district governor of the
Lyons Club.
Survivors: widow; son: Jay, Auburn,
Ala.; daughter: Mrs. Carolyn
Brewer, Grand Junction, Colo.; brothers:
Harold, Ness City; Glen, La
Crosse; sisters: Mrs. Thelma Wilson,
Mrs. Margaret Brening, both of La
Crosse; seven grandchildren.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Thursday at
the church; the Rev. Henry Murray.
Burial in La Crosse Cemetery.
