CARLISLE - Harold E. Cline, 64, of 1224 Dickinson Drive died Friday in Carlisle Hospital.

He was a graduate of Carlisle High School; served in the Army Air Corps during World War II in the South Pacific; was a former Borough Council member in Carlisle and a member of the Finance Committee; was a member of the Carlisle Zoning and Planning Commission; was a building contractor and land developer in Carlisle; was a Realtor for Jack Gaughen in Carlisle; was a former co-owner of Harvon Motel, Carlisle; was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, Carlisle, where he was a member of the ushers association; was a member and past president of the Carlisle Exchange Club; St. John's Lodge 260, F&AM, Carlisle; Harrisburg Consistory; Zembo Temple, Harrisburg; Cumberland County Shrine Club; Tall Cedars of Lebanon; Carlisle Elks Lodge No. 578; American Legion, Silver Spring Twp.; OPTIMO Investment Club, Carlisle; was a former member of North Middleton Planning Commission; and was past president of Cumberland County Tourist Council.

Surviving are his widow, Vaunlee Anderson Cline; one son, Richard H. Cline of Dayton, Ohio; his mother, Ada L. Cline of Plainfield; two brothers, Lloyd M. and Paul L., both of Carlisle; two sisters, Esther Miller of Boiling Springs and Bernita Mayberry of Plainfield; and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in his church, with the Rev. Dr. Gerald D. Kauffman officiating. Burial will be in Westminster Cemetery, North Middleton Twp.
