Rhina was the wife of George Washington Armstrong and they lived in Wabash county, Illinois until 1869 when they moved along with George's younger sister, Phebe to Webster county, MO. By this time, Their 2 oldest sons had died in service to the Union army in the Civil War. They had also lost a daughter, at a young age, due to disease. Rhina had 10 children in all and she lived until at least 1900, based on her appearance in that census. Some of the land that she and George purchased in Webster county was donated to build a church, Liberty Church, and this is the land on which they are buried.
