Henry Clay Armstrong was raised on his father's farm located just north of the Lick Prairie Cemetery, Wabash County, Illinois. At age eighteen, he moved with his father's family to Webster County, Missouri. There he obtained a farm and raised his family. Henry died on his farm, and is buried near his father in the Liberty Cemetery.
