Charles S. Armahizer, 79, of 1187 Johnston Ave., Kittanning, died yesterday afternoon in the Veterans Administration Hospital, Butler. Born in Mahoning on June 20, 1893, he was a son of Benjamin and Esther (Johns) Armahizer. A retired employee of Kittanning Brick Co., he was a veteran of World War I and a member of the James Arthur Ashe Post of VFW, Kittanning. Surviving are his wife, Blanche (Crissman) Armahizer; one daughter, Mrs. Ted (Ruth) McClain of New Castle; two sons, Robert of Butler and Gene of New York; one brother, Jesse of Adrian RD 1; and 18 grandchildren. ARMAHIZER - Friends of Charles S. Armahizer, who died March 21, 1973, are being received from 7 to 9 tonight and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow at F. Duane Snyder Funeral Home, Kittanning, where serves will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, with the Rev. Richard Molgaard, pastor of Wilson Ave., Church of God, Kittanning, officiating. Burial will be in Lawn Haven Burial Estates. Arrangements by F. Duane Snyder.
