Jesse S. Armahizer, 89, of Adrian RD 1, died Sunday morning at Armstrong County Memorial Hospital. A Retired employee of Harbison-Walker Refractories, Templeton, he was a member of Brush Valley Brethren Church of Adrian. He was born Feb 19, 1888 in Madison Township, a son of Labana and Esther (Johns) Armahizer. Surviving are his wife, the former Mae Croyle; four daughters; Mrs. Edwin (Leona) Wolfe of Adrian RD1, Mrs. Gerald (Elizabeth) Bowser of Kittanning, Mrs. Addison (Alvena) Miller and Mrs. Robert (Beulah) Jeffers, both of Adrian RD 1; a foster son, Andrew Armahizer of Adrian RD 1; 14 grandchildren and 43 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
ARMAHIZER - Friends of Jesse S. Armahizer, who died April 10, 1977, may call at the Walter G. Snyder Funeral Home, Cowansville, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and Tuesday. Service will be held there at 1 p.m. Wednesday, conducted by the Rev. Thomas Kidder of the Brush Valley Brethren Church, and the Rev. James Stocker of Assembly of God Church, Adrian. Burial will be in Brush Valley Brethren Cemetery, Adrian. Arrangements by Snyder of Cowansville.
