Joanne was born March 5, 1938, in Algoma to Melvin and Blanche (Kellner) Ahrndt. She married Miles Haucke April 11, 1959, at St. Paul's Church, Algoma. Joanne was the Algoma area Green Bay Press-Gazette agent for 11 years before her illness.
Survivors include her husband, Miles; one daughter and son-in-law, Suzanne and Kent Beckman, Algoma; four sons and two daughters-in-law, Scott and Mary, Algoma, Kelly and special friend Tracy, Beaver Dam, Robert and special friend Tracie, Algoma and Randall and Laura, Algoma; five grandchildren; one sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Donald Dionne, Onalaska; and her mother-in-law, Ruth Haucke, Algoma.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one infant son, Jeffery; and her father-in-law.
According to Joanne's wishes, there is no visitation and a private memorial service will be held at the Algoma United Methodist Church at 1 p.m. Monday. Wiesner & Massart Funeral Home, Algoma, is assisting the family.
