Agnes was the daughter of John Hoy and Teresa Agnes Egan of Albany. She married Charles Neilson (aka Nelson) Fort, son of Peter Van Vranken Fort and Elizabeth Neilson. Agnes and Charles had three sons - Charles Hoy Fort, Raymond Neilson Fort, and Clarence Van Vranken Fort.
