William "Bill: Million, 70, died Wednesday evening in the Green County Hospital and Home, where he had been a patient the past three years.
He attended Blanchardville School, the Business College in Rockford and served as a rural mail carrier from 1919 until his retirement in 1955.
A veteran of World War I, Company H, he was a member of the VFW, Cecil Jones Post 2312, Monroe; Dobson-Johnson Post 142, Blanchardville; and Loyal Order of Moose 737, Monroe.
Funeral services were held Saturday morning at the Blanchardville Lutheran church. Graveside rites were conducted by the Dobson-Johnson Post.
Surviving is a sister, Mary Swiggum, Argyle; a brother, Loraine M., Duluth, Minn., and several nieces and nephews.
