WARREN - Euthema M. McGaughy, 72, died Friday, Oct. 21, 2011, at her residence.
She was born Sept. 2, 1939, in Warren, the daughter of the late Don E. Lichty and the late Gayle Mae Huff Lichty.
Euthema enjoyed doing needlepoint and crocheting, gardening, and especially spending time with her family.
Euthema is survived by her children, David (Tracey) McGaughy of Champion, Robert (Billie Jo) McGaughy of Champion, and Teresa (Richard) Matter of North Bloomfield; six grandchildren, Gary, Tara, Beth, Kathleen, Kyle and Cody; two great-grandchildren, Carter and Brayden; and siblings, Harlan Lichty of Port Charlotte, Fla., and Janice Sapp of Warren.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald L. McGaughy, whom she married Oct. 26, 1956, and who passed away March 26, 2003; a son, Willard T. McGaughy; a daughter, Pamela K. McGaughy; two brothers, Cloyde and Deloyde Lichty; and a sister Valera Baker.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home, where Pastor Fred Blauser will officiate. Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday. Burial will be in Champion Township Cemetery, Champion.
