"Adelbert Chesebro, 66, died Tuesday morning after a brief illness at his farm home near Altamont. Mr. Chesebro was born in Knox October 31, 1871, son of the late George and Alice Auchenpaugh Chesebro. He moved here 25 years ago. He was married 40 years ago to Effie Williams, who died in 1931. Survivors include a son, Melville Chesebro; a brother, Harrison Chesebro; and two grandchildren, George and Eleanor Chesebro, all of Altamont. The funeral will be held Thursday afternoon from the Fredendall funeral home, Dr. O. E. Voight will officiate. Burial will be made in Prospect Hill cemetery, Guilderland."
