Hesperian Dies in Muskegon - Fred R. Newman Victim of Heart Disease of Long Standing -- While spending a vacation with his daughter, Mrs. Katherine Williams, Fred R. The trip from Hesperia three weeks ago further impaired his physical condition. For years he was a successful farmer in Oceana County. Among the survivors are three greater Muskegon residents, a son, Robert H. Newman, former president of the board of education of Muskegon Heights; and two daughters, Mrs. Williams and Goldie Newman of Muskegon. (Oceana Herald, April 22, 1927, 1st page)
