Harroll L. Brau, of Port Neches, passed away Sunday at his residence. He was born in Round Top, Texas to Max G. Brau and Gertrude Jacob Brau.

He was a lifelong area resident and member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church. He retired from Quantam after 15 years of service as a machinist and was also the golf pro at Port Grove Golf Course. He was a 4th Degree Knight in the Groves Knights of Columbus Council #3491. He was also a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Port Neches, and Port Arthur American Legion Post #7.

He served in the United States Air Force during World War II and the Korean Conflict and also retired from the U.S. Air Force Reserve.

Harroll was preceded in death by his brothers, Clarence Brau and Harvey Brau; and sister Shirley Holland.

Survivors include his wife, Freda Mouton Brau; daughters, Donna Gail Berry and husband, Roger, Debbie Hutchins and husband, Randy; foster son, Robbie Greig; sisters, Ire Nell Van Davender and Maxine Burke; sisters-in-law, Rosemary Brau and Jo Helen Brau; brothers, Wilbert Lee "Baby" Brau and Mike Brau; grandchildren, David Berry and wife, Nikki, Aaron Hutchins and wife, Jennifer, Dr. Shana Buchanan and husband, Dr. Ben Buchanan, and Caleb Hutchins; great-grandchildren, Hogan and Reagan Berry.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Port Neches, Texas with Reverend Bennie Patillo officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Levingston Funeral Home in Groves, Texas.
