Mr. Argo was born in Skidmore, Mo. He worked as a carpenter, a farmer and a boiler fireman. He was a member of the Burr Oak United Methodist Church. In 1934, he married Phyllis Davenport in Maryville. She survives of the home.
Additional survivors are two sons, Billy Argo of Tabor, Iowa, and Donald Argo of Newmarket, Iowa; two daughters, Louise Wallace of Auburn, Ala., and Sharon McClain of Maitland, Mo.; ten grandchildren, several step-grandchildren, ten great-grand-children and several step-great-grandchildren.
