Mrs. Argo was born in Easton, Ill., on March 21, 1912. She had lived in Maryville since 1948. She worked at Ideal and Superior Cleaners and as a cook at Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville. Mrs. Argo was a member of Burr Oak United Methodist Church in Skidmore, Mo. On Feb. 28, 1934, she married Glen M. Argo in Maryville. He died in 1991.
Mrs. Argo was also preceded in death by her parents, Solomon H. and Melissa L. Davenport; two sisters, Ruth Danner and Doris Lawson; a grandchild and a great-grand-child.
Surviving are two sons, Bill Argo of Council Bluffs, Iowa, and Don Argo of New Market, Iowa; two daughters, Louise Wallace of Burlington Junction, Mo., and Sharon McClain of Maryville; 10 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grand-children.
Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Price Funeral Home, Maryville. Burial will be in Nodaway Memorial Gardens, Maryville." St Joseph News-Press, December 27, 2001
