After graduating from high school in Bloom, KS, in 1945, Rosie attended college in Montrose receiving a nursing degree in 1947. Rosie moved to Amarillo in 1980 and married Charles Clarkson in 1993. They had been married two years at the time of his passing. Rosie loved crocheting, sewing and gardening. She was a loving and doting grandmother and lifelong member of the Independent Order of Rebekahs and Oddfellows Assemblies. She owned and operated a home health care business and developed the first Hospice Cottage in Amarillo. She passed away after a long-term illness and will be deeply missed. Preceding were both parents, husbands Kenneth Miller, Mitchell Stetson and Charles Clarkson, son Ricky Stetson, five brothers and sisters, and great-granddaughter Kenleigh Cheyenne Hall. Survivors included: brother Benjamin Floyd (Ellen) Barnes Jr., Lewellen, NE; daughter Rhonda (James) Mills, Amarillo; niece Francis (Larry) Belaire, Broomfield, CO; grandchildren Randy (Becky) Mills, Joshua (Jillian) Mills and Latonna Mills of Amarillo, and Lailonnia (Ben) Brewer of Lubbock; and great-grandchildren Molly Mills of Amarillo and Paige Brewer of Lubbock. Services held July 28 at Coulter Road Chapel, Rev. Loren Harper of Commanche Trail Church of Christ officiating. Arrangements by LaGrone-Blackburn-Shaw, 8310 S. Coulter St., Amarillo.
