BIOGRAPHY: Milton Hart was appointed constable in 1845 and was made a surveyor for Randolph Co. in 1858. The postal records with National Archives and Records Service, Washington, D.C. show that Milton Hart was appointed postmaster for Beverly, Randolph Co., W. Va. on March 10, 1863. His successor, John Birkett, was appointed on October 11, 1866.OCCUPATION: 1870 - farmer (US Census)
