Mrs. Fernando Judson
The death of Mrs. Fernando Judson, a resident for practically all her life of the town of Middlefield, occurred at the Binghamton State Hospital, where she had been a patient since December 12th at 7 p. m., Sunday, June 23d, as the result of pneumonia. Hannah Wrigley was the daughter of William and Polly (Gilbert) Wrigley and was born at Van Hornesville November 5, 1839. At an early age
"Aunt Hannah" as she was affectionately known by a wide circle of friends, came to live in Middlefield. Her marriage to Fernando Judson occurred at Hubbcll Hollow December 24, 1861, and they lived in that locality for a number of years. A short time prior to Mr. Judson's death which occurred March 12, 1898, they moved to Roseboom and later she took up her residence in the village of Middlefield, which was hor home until a comparatively short time before her death. So far as is known there are no surviving relatives.
The body was brought to Cherry Valley, Monday, and services were held at the cemetery at Roseboom on Tuesday afternoon, the Rev. L. A. Hungerford, pastor oof the Methodist Protestant churches at Pleasant Brook and South Valley officiating.
A number of her friends and relatives of her husband were present to pay a last silent tribute to hor memory.
