HYDE PARK — Lucy Massarelli, 80, a resident of Hyde Park since 1986, with family in Millbrook and Pleasant Valley, died Aug. 22, 1998 at Victory Lake Nursing Home. Mrs. Massarelli, who previously lived in Wappingers Falls, was a homemaker. Born Feb. 10, 1918, in Millbrook, she was a daughter of Russell and Mary Grishey Campbell. Mrs. Massarelli attended Millbrook schools. On May 29, 1946, in Dover Plains, she married John Massarelli, who survives at home. Other survivors include four daughters, Joanne Vecchi of Hyde Park, Linda Shattuck of Valatie, and Nancy P. Bate and Judith Massarelli of Wappingers Falls; two brothers, Fred and Eugene Campbell of Millbrook; three sisters, Alice DeCarlo of Pleasant Valley, and Margaret Campbell and Dorothy Barardi of Poughkeepsie; a son, Charles R. Massarelli of Montezuma, Ga.; 14 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. A daughter, Marie A. Massarelli; a son, John Massarelli III; two brothers, Russell and Robert Campbell; a sister, Irene Barto; and two grandchildren died previously. Burial was in Wappingers Rural Cemetery
