Lee Valentine, 52, a former resident of West Point, died unexpectedly at 12:11 AM Sunday, Jan. 21, 1996, in Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. Born Sept. 6, 1943, in Romney, she graduated from Jefferson High School in 1961. She was married to Billie Valentine on Dec. 31, 1961, in Knox County, KY; he survives.

Mrs. Valentine was a homemaker and caretaker at West Point Cemetery. She enjoyed bowling and fishing.

Surviving with her husband are a son, Matthew Williamson of Lafayette; two daughters, LaVonne (Mrs. Charles) Webb of Dayton and Hollie (Mrs. Brandon) Powell of Stockwell; four brothers, James Cunningham of Shadeland, John Cunningham of Linden, Norman Cunningham, and Ronald Cunningham, both of Lafayette; four sisters, Deloris (Mrs. Jack) Huff of West Lafayette, Mary (Mrs. Dorwin) Wilson of Holiday, FL, Patty Fulkerson of Greenville, KY, and Barbara (Mrs. Gene) Valentine of Lafayette; and five grandchildren.
