Billie Don Valentine, 81, of Lafayette, IN, passed away on Thursday, October 28, 2021.

He was born on March 28, 1940 in Heidrick, KY to the late Gorman and Cecil (Jackson) Valentine.

Billie married Norma Lee Cunningham on December 30, 1961 in Kentucky. She preceded him in death on January 26, 1996.

Billie retired from the West Lafayette Street Department. During his retirement, he could be found chopping wood for friends and family.

Billie enjoyed wood working, watching NASCAR and selling his finds after buying storage units. He also loved to bowl and was in at least 3 leagues.

Surviving are four children; 13 siblings; six grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his second wife, Barbara Jean (Killian) Valentine.

Services will be held on Monday, November 1, 2021 at 1 PM at Fisher Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in West Point Cemetery. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 11 AM to 1 PM at the funeral home.
