His wife Mrs. Hettie Belle Cain Fowler, preceded him in death. He is survived by six children, Mrs. Thelma Bogie, Miami, Florida; Mrs. Ruth Hinton, Mrs. Mary Smith and Arthur Lee Fowler of Louisville; Rev. Roy Fowler of Portland, Oregon and Walter Fowler of Brandenburg; one sister Mrs. Stanley Cain, Brandenburg; two brothers Steward Fowler, Brandenburg and Thomas Fowler of Louisville; 12 grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at Heady Funeral Home, Louisville, conducted by the Rev. D.E. Jones.Burial was at Cap Anderson Cemetery, Brandenburg, Meade County, Kentucky.
Pallbearers were Irvin Parr, Tommy Cain, Joe Fowler, Melvin Bryant, Henry Epperson and Robert Stewart.
