Gordon E. Schwemm, 67, of Fox River Grove, died Sunday, September 19, 2004, at Sherman Hospital in Elgin.

He was born March 2, 1937, In Barrington to Frank and Elizabeth (Magill)
Schwemm.

He was a former employee of General Kinematics in Crystal Lake and a former member of the Fox River Grove Lions Club.

Survivors include his wife, JoAnn (Podhorsky) Schwemm; four children, Della Fullmer of Island Lake, Debra (Mike) Lukkie of Algonquin, Derek Schwemm of Platteville, WI and Dean Schwemm of Fox River Grove; two grandchildren, Melissa Fullmer and Melinda Schwemm; three great grandchildren, Sabrina, Sebastian and Nicole; and three brothers, Gene Schwemm of Carpentersville, Robert Schwemm of South Carolina and Ronald Schwemm of Las Vegas.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Wayne Schwemm
and Donald Schwemm; and a sister, Betty Olson.

The visitation will be from 4 to 8 pm Thursday, September 23 at Kahle-Moore
Funeral Home, 403 Silver Lake Road, Cary. The funeral will be at 11:00 am, Friday September 24 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Windridge Cemetery in Cary.
