OBITUARY:
TRACY CITY - Willie Morgan (Tom) Creighton, 95, died Saturday, July 14, 2012 at his home.

He was owner and operator of Creighton GMC, Palmer Tenn., and Creighton Chevrolet in Tracy City, Tenn. He was a World War II U.S. Army veteran, a member of Tracy City First United Methodist Church and a member of Sewanee Lodge #405 Free and Accepted Masons.

He was born in Tarlton Valley on Aug. 29, 1916 to Morgan and Elizabeth Perry Creighton, who preceded him in death along with his sister, Martha Sue Miller; brothers, Leonard, James, Earl, and Arthur Creighton.

He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Margaret Creighton; son, Bruce (Charlotte) Creighton, Tracy City; sisters, Gladys Arnett, Miami Fla., and Mary Kinser, Greenback, Tenn.; brothers, John (Wanda) Creighton, Chattanooga, and Ralph Taylor (Barbara) Creighton, Gruetli-Laager; sister-in-law, Ann Creighton; grandchildren, Travis (Nicole) Creighton and Dawn (Greg) Plattenburg; great-grandchildren, Tanner, Bailey, and Maddox.

A graveside service with military honors will be 11 a.m. CST today in Plainview Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Clayton Jones and Rev. John Potts officiating.
