Ms. Margaret L. Creighton, age 94, of Tracy City, passed away Thursday February 5, 2015 at the Sheltering Arms Home in Palmer. She was born in Palmer, Tennessee on April 26, 1921 to Dee and Susie Tucker Cleek who preceded her in death along with her husband, Tom Creighton; sister, Florence Flynn; brother, Paul Cleek.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church at Tracy City, member of the OES #266 Tracy City Chapter and along with her husband Tom, owned Creighton Chevrolet in Tracy City.
She is survived by her son Bruce and his wife Charlotte Creighton; grandchildren, Dawn (Greg) Platenburg and Travis (Nicole) Creighton; great grandchildren, Tanner, Bailey, Maddox and Charlotte; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Sunday in the funeral home chapel with Ministers Clayton Jones and Danny Coffelt officiating. Burial followed in the Plainview Cemetery. Arrangements were provided by Layne Funeral Home, Palmer, TN.
