Fred E. Deaver, Jr., formerly of Birmingham, passed away May 16, 2012 at his residence in Lakeland, FL at the age of 82 following a battle with cancer. Fred was born September 2, 1928. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred Ewing Deaver Sr. and Virgie Hudson Deaver of Blount County; brothers, John Deaver of Alabaster and Lester Deaver of Blount County; sister, Margie Gingler of Birmingham. A graveside memorial service will be held Saturday, June 30, 2012 at 3pm Jefferson Memorial Gardens Trussville. Faye Durfield and Rev. Mike Emsminger officiating.
