Mamie died from childbirth sepsis, shortly after giving birth to twins.
After Mamie's death, the Sutherland Family, took care of her affairs, and cared for the twin that lived; Joe Delor. (A note about Joe, he was primarily raised by his Aunt; Jennie. In her Obit she lists a son, Joseph and a grandchild, Charles Albert. Those are Joe Delor and his son. Jennie & Charles F. B. Zimmerman had no children between them, but raised Joe. In an article in the Columbian Joe talks about living in the Zimmerman house and selling it after they died to pay taxes.)
