Jennie & Charles did not have any children. The marker listing Mother & Father is from their nephew, Joseph Delor 73206437 whom they helped raise. He is also listed in her and Charles' obit as a son.
It should be noted that Mr. Zimmerman built Jennie a very fine home on the corner of 19th & Columbia ( 1812 Columbia Street ) in Vancouver, WA, that still stands today 12-13-2022. The Zimmerman's lived there until their deaths. Joesph Delor inherited the home, and in 1947 sold it "to pay the inheritance tax." Joe also inherited all of Mr. Zimmerman's military items. Some he donated to the Clark County Historical Museum.
