Services were at the Herreid Baptist Church April 01, for Mrs. Elizabeth Hepperle, 66, of McLauglin, who died at her home of a heart ailment. She was found by her son, Andrew Klingman. Reverend E. S. Fenske and Reverend B. R. Fritzke officiated. Burial in the Fairview cemetery.
She was born at Glueckstal, South Russia, November 11, 1886, and came to this country with her parents, aged two. She married Ludwig Klingman at Herreid in 1908. They had two sons and three daughters. He died in 1935. In 1942 she married Fred Hepperle.
Survivors are two sons, Andrew Klingman of McLaughlin and Walter Klingman of Aberdeen; two stepsons, John Klingman of Spearfish and Herbert Fischer of Mobridge; three daughters, Mrs. Alfred (Elizabeth) Linderman of Isabel, Mrs. John (Tillie) Quenzer of Rapid City and Mrs. Eugene (Kathryn) Werre of Eureka; two stepdaughters, Mrs. John (Bertha) Beck of Sunnyside, Washington, and Mrs. Edward (Martha) Schacher of Portland, Oregon; two brothers, Carl Fischer of Miller and Philip Fischer of Trenton, Washington; two sisters, Mrs. Roy Lee of Omaha and Mrs. Emma Evenson of Trenton, Washington; 19 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
