Services held for Ed. J. Kraai
Funeral services were held for Edward J. Kraai on Saturday, Oct. 30, at the American Reformed Church. Mr. Kraai died Oct. 25 at a Bradenton, Fla. hospital after a short illness. Rev. Alvin Hook officiated at the service. Pallbearers were Dayton Kraai, Leroy Kraai, Robert Utech, W. Dale Kraai, Russell Kraai and Arthur Struyk.
He was born July 25, 1884 in Orange City. He farmed and operated a hardware store here for many years. Moved to Ellerton, Fla. in 1959.
He is survived by his widow, Mildred; one son, Gerald of Kansas City; five brothers, William, Fred, Harold, all of Orange City, Nelson of Calif., Raymond of Omaha; one sister, Mabel of Orange City; nine grandchildren and
11 great grandchildren.
