Don Kraai Dies
At Orange City
ORANGE CITY, Iowa - Special: Funeral services for Donald Kraai, 53, were at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Trinity Reformed Church here. Burial was in West Lawn Cemetery under direction of the Van Etten Funeral Home.
Mr. Kraai died unexpectedly Saturday afternoon after suffering an apparent heart attack while working on the lawn at his home.
He was born April 27, 1908, at Orange City. He married Edith Roetman June 19, 1929 at Orange City.
He operated a plumbing and heating business here until 1953, when he was named northwest Iowa representative for a Sioux City wholesale plumbing firm. He was active in civic and church affairs and served on the volunteer fire department for more than 25 years.
