Ila Lafern Stearman was born Nov. 26. 1909, died June 25, 1911, age nineteen months.
Little Ila was taken sick on Tuesday and lasted only a few days. The hot weather was much against her. We have known this sweet little darling only to love her. We had visited the home many times and saw sunshine there because of her presence, but "the Savior hath need of these little flowers the reaper smiled and said," so he took her to help make up his jewels in heaven. The funeral was conducted by the writer in the home Monday at 3 o'clock and the remains laid to rest in the Thralls cemetery. The bereaved parents have the heartfelt sympathy of all. - O. W. Brown.
