RITES ARE AT ST. JOHN'S FUNERAL SERVICES HELD AT ST. JOHN'S CHURCH THIS
AFTERNOON, FEB'Y 10

Funeral services for Mrs. Wilhelmina Jass, 83, were held at 2 o'clock this
afternoon (Wednesday) at St. John's Lutheran church northeast of Garner.

In charge of services was the Rev. W. T. Wolfram, pastor of the church.
Pallbearers were C. A., E. T., J. A., and F. F. Boehnke, E. 0. Wetterling and H.
H. Ollenburg. Burial was in St. John's cemetery.

Mrs. Jass succumbed Sunday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Will Boehnke, with
whom she made her home for several months during which she suffered from heart
disease.

Born in West Prussia, Germany, Sept. 16, 1853, she came to America after she had
been married to Albert Jass, who preceded her in death 15 years ago. Some of the
children were born in Germany and the rest in America.

Surviving are six daughters, one son and three stepsons. They are: Gustav Jass,
Mrs Boehnke, Mrs Otto Schmidt, Mrs Fred Hoeft, Mrs Julia Bohn, Wilhelmina and
Tillie Jass. Fifty-three grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren, as well as a
large host of friends, also mourn her passing.
