Death of Jos. Crim. Oakland, MD., Oct. 3 -- Jos. Crim is dead at his home in Oakland, aged 74 years. Mr. Crim was a native of Frederick County, Virginia. He moved to Allegany county, Maryland, many years ago, and then to Oakland in 1867. He was a member of the Knights of Pythias and the Odd Fellows. Among the surviving children are William and Cal Crim, of Cincinnati, the latter being a noted detective, and George Crim, of Pittsburg. (Source: Cumberland Evening Times - 03 Oct 1908 - page 1
