They had one child together, Benjamin (born 1832) and Eliza died in 1833. On March 20, 1834, Abel married his second wife, Mary Ann (Wilson) Crispin (1809-1847). Abel and Mary Ann had at least five children together including: Oliver, Silas R., Catherine, Michael and Henry Crispin. Abel's third wife was Nancy Spencer. Abel and Nancy were married on April 10, 1851. They had one child together, Georgia Crispin.
