Lot Doty, aged eighty-three years of age, died at the home of his son, Judson Doty, four miles east of the city this morning at half past six o'clock with heart disease. He leaves five children, his wife having passed away four years ago, Charles Doty, of Democracy, Ohio; Mrs. Geo. Schultz, Danville, Ohio; Leonard Doty, of this city, and Judson Doty, who resides on the old homestead. The deceased was an old citizen of this county, having resided at the place of his death for twenty-three years, immigrating from Knox county, Ohio. Funeral services will be held at the house Monday morning at 9 o'clock, interment taking place at Sugar Grove church.
