MORRISDALE - Arthur D. Emigh, 68, of Morrisdale R.D. died at 4:05 p.m. yesterday, Aug. 24, at Centre Community Hospital, State College.
Born in Graham Township, Morrisdale R.D., March 4, 1915, he was a son of Alfred and Agnes (Smeal) Emigh.
He was a member of Summit Hill United Methodist Church.
He was married to the former Elizabeth Rothrock, who survives with these children: Mrs. James (Patricia) Bock and Eugen Emigh, both of Morrisdale R.D.; Gerald, Carlton; Mrs. John (Nancy) Bush, West Decatur R.D., and David, Richmond Va., 13 grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Vada Martin, Bellefonte.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, two sisters and two grandchildren.
The funeral will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of the Strange and Weaver Home for Funerals, Morrisdale, with the Rev. Ronald E. Landis officiating and interment will be in Summit Hill Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 p.m. Friday until time of service Saturday.
