Services for Mrs. Margaret Ackerman, 95, of Mobridge were Wednesday at the First Reformed Church in Herreid. Reverend Robert Grossman officiated. Burial in the Sutley, South Dakota, cemetery. She died January 06, 1975, at her home of heart failure.
She was born in South Russia, June 28, 1879. When she was seven she came too this country with her parents. In 1900, she married Johannes Ackerman at Java/Sutley. He died in 1949.
Survivors are one son, Theophil of Mobridge; four daughters, Mrs. Bertha Gatzke, Mrs. Lena Schneider, Mrs. Robert (Ida) Neumiller, of Mobridge, and Mrs. Milton (Irene) Deibert of Mound City; 14 grandchildren; 35 great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her husband, parents, two brothers, one sister, three sons, two grandchildren; and two sons-in-law.
