MARRIED

On Wednesday, November 5, 1913, at high noon a pretty home wedding was solemnized at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Bell, residing in Cass county, when their daughter, Miss Mary, was united in marriage to Jesse Everhart. Rev. Mr. Hower, pastor of the Methodist church of Massena, performed the ceremony. The contracting parties were accompanied by the bride's sister, Olive Bell and George Everhart. The wedding march was played by the bride's sisters, ida and Lillian Bell. After the ceremony and congratulations a bountiful two course dinner was served. The bride was beautifully gowned in white silk chiffon over white messaline, and wore a veil of silk illusion, daintily arranged with orange blossoms. She carried a bouquet of bride's roses and maidenhair ferns. The bridesmaid wore a very pretty white embroidered net over pink and carried a large bouquet of chrysanthemums. The groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. A. R. Everhart, residing in Cass county. In the evening about thirty-five young people were present to enjoy an informal party, Miss Bertha Everhart acting as hostess.

Guests from out of town were Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Smeeton of Omaha; Miss Bertha Everhart of Corning; and Olive and Arthur Bell of Greenfield.

The bride and groom have resided in their present community all their lives and are very highly respected young people. They received some very beautiful as well as useful gifts. Mr. and Mrs. Everhart will be at home on a farm owned by the groom's father, southeast of Massena, after the 20th of November.
