Edward M. Mouser, 79, passed away at his home on July 8, 2012. His funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at United Methodist Church of Kinder at 11am. Rev. Henry Horton will officiate. Burial will follow in Kinder McRill Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder. The family will receive visitors from 4-10pm on Monday, July 9, 2012 in Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder. On Tuesday morning, visitation will be held at United Methodist Church from 8am until the time of service. Judge Mouser was a member of United Methodist Church of Kinder. He graduated from Columbia High School, Louisiana State University, and LSU Law School. He also proudly served his country as a United States Marine from 1954-1956 and was awarded the National Defense Service Medal. He was an attorney as well as a retired district judge with the 33rd Judicial Court of Allen Parish. Survivors include his two sons, Christopher Mouser and Patrick Mouser; two daughters, Lorin Guillory and husband, Stan, and Lisa Stafford and husband, Bryan; his special niece and caregiver, Ann L. Buck; ten grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. Judge Mouser is preceded in death by his wife, Ann Buck Mouser; his parents, Vinson and Helen Holmes Mouser; his brother, Holmes Mouser; and his nephew, Edward Matthew Mouser.
