Our beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, Clyde Ericksen Bench, 87, died August 25, 1982 at the Hill Haven Convalescent Center.

Born July 5, 1895 in Manti, to William and Christine Ericksen Bench. Married Frances Jardine, December 23, 1926, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Active member of the LDS Church. High Priest Salt lake 1st Ward, served 13 years as Ward Clerk, and many years Park Stake High Council. Worked Nelson-Ricks Co. and City County Clerk's Office.

Survivors: wife, daughter, Mrs. Don (Phyllis) Ensign, and son, Dr. Clyde J. Bench, all of Salt Lake City; 14 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; preceded in death by daughter, Marjorie Bench Sonntag.

Funeral services Saturday, 12:00 noon, Salt Lake 1st Ward, 760 E 700 South. Friends may call at the Deseret Mortuary, 36 East 700 South, Friday, 6:00-8:00 p.m., and Saturday at the Ward one hour prior to services. Burial, Salt Lake City Cemetery.
