Resident of Champaign for 20 Years Dies Thursday in Danville

DANVILLE, Feb. 9. – Funeral services will be conducted here at 2 p.m. Saturday for Frank A. Barrick, 52, proprietor of a furniture store here who lived in Champaign for 20 years. Mr. Barrick died Thursday in Lake View hospital.
Burial will be in the Homer cemetery. The services will be conducted from the Callahan funeral home.
Mr. Barrick came to Danville five years ago from Champaign and resided at 109 West Williams street.
He is survived by his widow; three daughters, Mrs. Helen Hays, Frances, and Mary Jane, all of Champaign; three sons, Frederick, Indianapolis, Jack, at home, and Loren, San Antonio, Tex.; and one brother Eugene P. Barrick of Danville. One son, Frank, Jr., and two brothers preceded him in death.
One of four sons of William and Caroline Pundt Barrick, he was born Aug. 21, 1887 in Tuscola. On Nov. 20, 1906, he was married to Ada Hiller of Ogden. He was a member of the Christian church.
